Door to Door Delivers Service
Traditionally, the most common type of shipping of both complete FCL containers and LCL groupings was the “door to door” service, while “door to door” deliveries were reserved for courier / parcel service. However, in recent years international trade is tending to turnkey sales contracts with direct delivery at the final destination. The door to door service is, therefore, a form of delivery in which the freight forwarder is responsible for collecting and delivering the goods at agreed points with the final customer.
